are there any good stretch mark creams?
June 5th, 2010 by stretchcream.org | 3 Comments | Filed in Stretch CreamsWomen, are there any cellulite and/or stretch mark creams that actually work?
June 4th, 2010 by stretchcream.org | 8 Comments | Filed in Stretch CreamsI’m 19 years old, 5’6″, and I weigh 135 lbs. Unfortunately, most of it is concentrated in my lower body. I have a 24″ waist but a 42″ butt. I have horrible cellulite and stretch marks all over my “cheeks” and thighs. I won’t even wear shorts. Do any of you have first hand experience with this? Is there any (preferably inexpensive) cellulite cream that actually works, where do you buy it, and how much does it cost? Also, what works really well for old stretch marks? Please, no rude comments. I hate myself enough already.

Have you had any success with stretch mark creams?
June 2nd, 2010 by stretchcream.org | 2 Comments | Filed in Stretch CreamsSo I know there is no true remedy for stretch marks. But I was wondering if anyone had any success with certain creams or medicines? I don’t want to spend a ton of money. I had bio-oil and it seemed to work okay. It faded them a little. What have you tried and what were the results? Has anyone had success with mederma?
Thanks for your answers!

May 27th, 2010 by stretchcream.org | 12 Comments | Filed in Stretch CreamsHow to Find the Best Stretch Mark Lotion
May 10th, 2010 by stretchcream.org | No Comments | Filed in Stretch CreamsAny significant amount of weight gain will most likely result in stretch marks. As weight fluctuates, skin tissue must flex and tear to allow room for the excess fat build up present throughout the body. Once discolored marks of the skin are present, there is very little that can be done to remove them other than through the use of a special stretch mark lotion. Dermatological emerging science has proved vital for the removal of horrifically unsightly stretch marks that offer revolutionary results at extremely affordable prices.
Sadly, when attempting to remove stretch marks, most consumers feel cosmetic and laser surgery is the only options. Of course, this method is highly effective and requires very little effort on your behalf with the exception of having a large amount of disposable income. Prior to embarking upon such a feat, glance through the advanced lotion aisle at your local retailer to determine which stretch cream is right for you.
The most common ingredients found in stretch mark lotions are Cocoa and Shea butter compounds. Usually in the form of an extract, these two ingredients offer a hyper moisturized variant of the butter roots that create a soft and texture result in removing marks from your skin. As this technology has advanced, various forms of Cocoa and Shea butter are available for use.
Another crucial ingredient in any lotion purchased is the presence of vitamins A, C, and E. These vitamins have been proven to moisturize the skin. Furthermore, these vitamins assist in long term healing of the skin to ensure your marks are permanently no longer an issue.

A Few Tips on Preventing Stretch Marks
May 10th, 2010 by stretchcream.org | No Comments | Filed in Stretch CreamsPreventing stretch marks can be tricky, especially if an individual does not know what really causes them. Knowing the tips about what causes the marks, who gets them, and how to stop them from affecting lovely skin, is the key. Always consult a physician before attempting any type of prevention treatments.
Stretching occurs when growth occurs. It does not matter who you are, or what age. If a rapid sudden growth occurs then a mark will too. The marks leaves a stria, or a single tear under skin. Sometimes several can appear grouped together, these are known as striae.
Some of the categories of people that get the marks are women who are pregnant, body builders, dieters, teenagers with sudden growth spells, and individuals with genetic growth problems. There are many other reasons that someone would get the marks, but these reasons are just a few of them.
How to prevent stretched marks is a little medical knowledge. Know that genetics is a contributing factor on how easy it is to control their appearance. Some people are more prone to the severity and quickness of their emergence. Try not to become discouraged, but remember to keep working at staying stretch free.
Treatment options include creams and ointments that can be applied topically. Concern for an allergic reaction should always be factored in. For dieters do not forget to eat sensibly and exercise. This will tighten the surrounding muscle, so fat should not have a chance to tear. Crash diets will only loosen the skin quicker, and cause worse tears.
Stretch marks are not a life and death situation, but everyone likes to look their best. Use healthy choices when treating them, and know that creams, and dieting correctly, is the smart way to preventing stretch marks and stay free of striae.
