anyone used tri-lastin SR for stretch marks and it work?

July 5th, 2010 by stretchcream.org | No Comments | Filed in Stretch Marks Cream

Question by Amber: anyone used tri-lastin SR for stretch marks and it work?
i am considering buying this product to fade a few stretchmarks on my thighs. didn’t know if anyone has tried it. i’ve done a lot of “homework” on this product and it seems to be legitimate (not claiming to neccessarily remove them, just at least fade them) and 90% of reviews from other sites regarding the product have been pretty reassuring. it is fairly pricey though and i want to be careful buying, even though there is a 60 day money back guarantee. i know, creams aren’t supposed to improve stretch marks, but just curious if anyone has given this a shot. if not, no need to respond. thanks so much in advance!

I haven’t read about Tri-Lastin but well over 90% of any cream cannot make it through your skin. Stretch marks are actual tears in your dermis so you need more of a physical stimulus to promote healing…

To remove stretch marks, you need to understand what they are (there is a great audio to listen to here as well as an article):

http://www.derma-rollers.com/30/stretch-marks-causes-and-removal/

Basically, when your skin stretches too fast, it tears under the surface. Your body wasn’t able to produce enough collagen – which is what keeps the skin supple and elastic. So you need to stimulate the collagen production in the skin.

Creams with vitamin C and E help, but more than 90% of it is wasted because it cannot cross your skin.

The great news is that using a Derma Roller can increase collagen in the skin up to 1000% after just a few applications. It is based upon ancient oriental acupuncture techniques so it is perfectly safe. My girlfriend has removed stretch marks that she has had for years… they are almost gone after only about 5 weeks.

She used a derma roller from here:

Good luck with it!

has anyone used nourish STM stretch mark cream?

June 2nd, 2010 by stretchcream.org | 2 Comments | Filed in Revitol Stretch Mark Cream

i’ve got older whitish stretch marks, which look like they are actually going away now that i have been scrubbing with apricot scrub with a glove/loofah type thing , i scrub the areas (they are all over my body) after i get out of the shower i use bio oil , then vitamin E oil , then st ives total cellulite control cream, then i use dove natural glow ( its a gradual tan moisturizer, and is amazing…)
i exfoliate once a day, then apply these lotions and oils 3 times a day. each time takes about 2 hours. i have been doing this for four days and my 7 year OLD white stretch marks are already shrinking.
so yes i am getting results but i want to add more to my regimen , i am going to get emu oil & stm stretch mark cream ( because it has emu oil , vitemin e, aloe etc…) and last but not least im going to my dr to get some retin a ( which i have used in the past on my face but didnt know i could use them on my stretch marks!
Anyways my question is : has anyone used this nourish stm cream ? what were your results? can you point me in the direction of somewhere that has real USER REVIEWS of the stm cream? anyone know where i can find any before and after photos?
i dont need anyones BS about how creams dont work, cuz im living breathing proof they do, and eventually i do plan on getting laser surgery for them (i am saving up for that currently because i cant afford that at this second because the economy blows! ) , i just want to know the best stretch mark creams out there that are available that people have actually tried , and how stm stretch mark cream has worked for you. has revitol worked for anyone? any other tips you can give me?
