Question by Amber: anyone used tri-lastin SR for stretch marks and it work?
i am considering buying this product to fade a few stretchmarks on my thighs. didn’t know if anyone has tried it. i’ve done a lot of “homework” on this product and it seems to be legitimate (not claiming to neccessarily remove them, just at least fade them) and 90% of reviews from other sites regarding the product have been pretty reassuring. it is fairly pricey though and i want to be careful buying, even though there is a 60 day money back guarantee. i know, creams aren’t supposed to improve stretch marks, but just curious if anyone has given this a shot. if not, no need to respond. thanks so much in advance!

I haven’t read about Tri-Lastin but well over 90% of any cream cannot make it through your skin. Stretch marks are actual tears in your dermis so you need more of a physical stimulus to promote healing…
To remove stretch marks, you need to understand what they are (there is a great audio to listen to here as well as an article):

Basically, when your skin stretches too fast, it tears under the surface. Your body wasn’t able to produce enough collagen – which is what keeps the skin supple and elastic. So you need to stimulate the collagen production in the skin.
Creams with vitamin C and E help, but more than 90% of it is wasted because it cannot cross your skin.
The great news is that using a Derma Roller can increase collagen in the skin up to 1000% after just a few applications. It is based upon ancient oriental acupuncture techniques so it is perfectly safe. My girlfriend has removed stretch marks that she has had for years… they are almost gone after only about 5 weeks.
She used a derma roller from here:

Good luck with it!
